1. Identification and legal notice

In compliance with Law 34/2002 on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce (LSSI-CE), you are informed that the website usecoventry.com is owned by César García Rivera, an individual with Spanish ID 02580748X, address at Calle Padre Arrupe 27, 28055, Madrid (Spain), reachable at legal@usecoventry.com. The activity carried out is the provision of career guidance services using artificial intelligence.

2. Service description

CoVentry is a career guidance platform that uses artificial intelligence to analyse CVs, identify areas for improvement, simulate interviews and provide personalised recommendations. The service is directed at individuals of legal age. Use by companies to process employee data requires a prior written agreement.

3. Access and registration

  • Use of the service requires registration with an email and password or Google authentication
  • The user is responsible for keeping their credentials confidential
  • You must be at least 18 years old to register. The service is not directed at minors
  • We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms

4. Acceptable use

The user agrees to:

  • Use the service solely for legitimate personal career guidance purposes
  • Not upload content that infringes third-party rights or contains personal data of other people without their consent
  • Not attempt to access other users' accounts, data or systems
  • Not use the service to generate fraudulent, misleading or unlawful content
  • Not use the service in an automated, mass or scraping manner without prior authorisation

5. Nature of the AI service

Analyses generated by CoVentry are produced by an artificial intelligence system (Claude, by Anthropic) and are advisory and informational in nature. They do not constitute professional advice in human resources, legal, financial or educational matters. CoVentry does not guarantee that following the recommendations will result in obtaining employment, training or professional improvement. The user is solely responsible for decisions made based on the results.

6. Intellectual property

  • The content, design, code and brand of CoVentry are owned by César García Rivera
  • Analyses generated from your CV are your property and you may use them freely
  • By uploading your CV, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive and revocable licence to process it solely for the purpose of providing the service
  • Copying, modifying, distributing or reverse-engineering the service without express authorisation is not permitted

7. Free and Premium plans

  • The free plan includes a limited number of CV and LinkedIn profile analyses as indicated on the platform
  • The Premium plan offers unlimited use of all analyses, including the interview simulator
  • Premium is offered monthly (€4.99/month) or annually (€49.99/year), with recurring payments managed by Stripe
  • Prices include applicable taxes in Spain and may be modified with 30 days' notice to active subscribers

8. Cancellations and refunds

  • You can cancel your Premium subscription at any time from your account page by accessing the Stripe customer portal
  • Upon cancellation, you will retain Premium access until the end of the already-billed period
  • No partial refunds are made for unused periods, except where legally required
  • As a consumer you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 calendar days of subscribing, provided you have not used the Premium service during that period. To exercise the right of withdrawal, write to legal@usecoventry.com

9. Service availability

CoVentry does not guarantee continuous, uninterrupted availability of the service. We reserve the right to temporarily suspend access for maintenance, updates or technical reasons beyond our control (outages at providers such as Vercel, Supabase or Anthropic), without this giving rise to any right to compensation except where expressly required by law.

10. Limitation of liability

CoVentry shall not be liable for:

  • Professional, academic or financial decisions made by the user based on the generated analyses
  • Service interruptions due to causes beyond our control
  • Data loss due to force majeure
  • Indirect damages, loss of profit or loss of opportunities arising from use of the service
  • Occasional inaccuracies in AI-generated analyses, though we strive to make them accurate

This limitation does not exclude liability for fraud or gross negligence, or any liability that cannot be legally excluded.

11. Data protection and cookies

The processing of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy. The use of cookies and similar technologies is regulated by our Cookie Policy. Both form an integral part of these terms.

12. Amendments

We reserve the right to amend these terms. Significant changes will be communicated by email at least 15 days in advance to registered users. Continued use of the service after the new terms come into force implies acceptance. If you disagree, you may close your account before that date.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Spanish law, including the LSSI-CE, the GDPR (EU Regulation 2016/679), the LOPDGDD (Organic Law 3/2018) and, where applicable, Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007 on consumers and users. For any dispute, the parties submit to the courts and tribunals of Madrid, without prejudice to the mandatory jurisdiction that may correspond to the user as a consumer.

14. Dispute resolution

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you may use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform available at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
